A big thank you to the two-hundred of you who joined us on Friday 26 January for the launch of HEY100. It was a lively, stimulating event that bodes well for the upcoming year of free leadership development for the voluntary, cultural and social enterprise sectors in Hull and East Yorkshire.
Thanks goes to our guest speakers, Jamie Peacock MBE, Head of Rugby at Hull Kingston Rovers; Dawn Austwick, Chief Executive, Big Lottery Fund; Helen Bissett, MD at Yorkshire-based communications agency H&H; David Sanderson MBE, Chief Executive Officer, The Rank Foundation; and JJ Tatten, Manager at the Warren Youth Project in Hull who provided some sage advice during a stimulating panel discussion on "Leadership in all Shapes and Sizes". The panel was moderated by John Kampfner, Chair of Clore Social Leadership.
Most importantly, the event marked the opening of applications for the five HEY100 programmes: New to Management, Emerging Leaders, Senior Leader Masterclasses, Community Champions and Trustee Learning. Full information about all five programmes can be found on this website.
